Welcome to Flame Physical Therapy

Flame Physical Therapy is owned and operated by Hannah Finney, PT, DPT. Hannah is a lifelong resident of Henry County, VA. She knew she wanted to be a physical therapist ever since a job shadowing experience in 8th grade. Throughout school, she participated in cross country and gymnastics. She graduated from Bassett High School in 2014. Hannah received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Lynchburg College in 2017. Then, she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Lynchburg in 2020. Hannah has experience treating athletes including gymnasts, softball players, baseball players, soccer players, dancers, volleyball players, and power lifters. She also has a background in treating patients with neurological impairments such as Parkinson’s Disease and stroke. In her free time, she enjoys running, weightlifting, singing at church, and spending time with friends and family. Hannah is excited to open a clinic that offers a one-on-one physical therapy experience. She looks forward to collaborating with each patient to ensure their personal goals are achieved.

Fun Fact: Hannah’s high school cross country season was cut short due to a knee injury in which pain occurred consistently after running one mile. During physical therapy school, she learned how to decrease her knee pain and eventually participated in a 10-mile race pain free!
